Executive Jeff Supina, Vice President, Accretive Solutions, Patrick G. Callaghan, Ph.D., SPHR, and Jeoff Burris, President, Advanced Purchasing Dynamics

Please join us on Thursday September 19th for dinner and an examination of the employment market in Michigan at the Ukrainian Cultural Center. This special event will examine the Michigan job market, how to work with recruiters, the impact of technology, interviewing techniques and more. Our panel discussion will include three experts with diverse experience in human resources, recruiting, and career counseling to assure a broad coverage of topics related to the job market.

Our Panel:

Jeff Supina, Vice President, Executive Search, Accretive Solutions

Jeff Supina is the Vice President of Executive Search at Accretive Solutions and has over sixteen years of executive search experience.  Accretive Solutions is a national consulting and executive search firm with 11 offices around the country.  In terms of executive search, the firm’s core competencies include Information Technology, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain & Purchasing, Human Resources, and more.

Jeff has worked across multiple industries including Automotive, Manufacturing, Financial Services & Banking, Construction, Consumer Goods, Gaming & Entertainment, and Healthcare. Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Jeff spent the first five years of his career working for Arthur Andersen in Detroit. Initially in audit, he transitioned into the Assistant Director of Recruiting position and led all of the hiring activities for the firm’s Detroit office. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Michigan

Patrick G. Callaghan, Ph.D., SPHR

For more than twenty years, Dr. Callaghan has been a distinguished leader in both business and Education specializing in Organization Development. Dr. Callaghan leads the strategic and tactical direction of the O'Keefe & Associates Human Resources, Cultural Advancement and Talent Management functions.  In addition, Dr. Callaghan provides career planning services to individuals and recruiting services to selected clients.

Prior to joining O'Keefe & Associates, he was the Director of Human Resources at AlixPartners, LLC where he established and implemented the human capital strategy for the most successful consulting firm in the world (based on an average $800K + billing per consultant/year). He led a 14 person team which was responsible for delivering recruiting, staffing, training, assessment, policy development, performance management, benefits, and employee relations services globally. Dr. Callaghan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management from Albion College, a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University, and a doctoral degree in Education, specializing in Instructional Technology, from Wayne State University. He has also attained the highest certification in the Human Resources profession – Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Jeoff Burris, President,  Advanced Purchasing Dynamics (APD), Supply Chain Professional Placement

With twenty years of specialized experience in the automotive industry, Jeoff Burris is a purchasing expert who possesses the detailed knowledge necessary to transform an underperforming organization into a world-class leader.  APD has consulting and placement operations helping clients align talent and capabilities to strategic objectives in purchasing.
