OVERVIEW OF PRESENTATION
From basic to advanced, this session will walk through tips and tricks to help “power up” your approach to strategic sourcing. This fast-paced session will include case studies and examples used across many industries that have been used successfully around the world. Audience interaction will be encouraged.

Judy Baranowski, a Director at AlixPartners LLP, is known for working with corporate leadership teams to quickly improve and/or stabilize operating performance. She has worked with clients across a broad range of industries – hi-tech, telecom, medical devices, retail, oil and gas, professional services, media and sporting goods, to name a few. Judy has an extensive background in supply chain, working capital improvement, SG&A reduction, customer service, quality, lean operations, and new product launch. She also works with sales and product development teams to increase revenue and gross margin. Her operating experience includes senior executive level positions at Motorola, AlliedSignal and Eaton. For her clients, and with each of her operating roles, Judy has driven significant performance improvement to the bottom line. She has a reputation for getting things done.

Judy has an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Oakland University. She is a member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and currently serves as the chairman of their Conference Leadership Committee. This is the team responsible for selecting the speakers and content for ISM’s Annual International Conference each spring. In the past, Judy has also served as chairman of ISM’s national Ethical Standards Committee, as a member of ISM’s national Committee on Sustainability and Social Responsibility and as a board member for ISM Metro Detroit. Judy is also a member of several other professional associations related to her areas of focus at AlixPartners.
